Cautions for driving electric locomotives:

First, before starting the diesel engine, check whether the oil is within the approved range of the oil gauge; whether the water in the water tank is full (replenishing water every two hours); whether the water in the water tank is full and clean, and be replenished and replaced at any time; after starting, do not start the engine immediately, let the diesel engine rotate for about five minutes, and listen to its voice is abnormal. Otherwise, check and troubleshoot in time.

Secondly, the driver must establish a high sense of responsibility, and strengthen their own and his safety awareness. If a locomotive encounters reverse and backward shifting of forward gears in operation, it must stop the locomotive and replace it, otherwise the gears in the gearbox will be damaged. Attention should be paid to cooperating with the action of the trailer and the miner outside to ensure the safety in place. When the locomotive is running, when it encounters a bend or a bifurcation, it must slow down and stop, and then turn the turnout. When the locomotive crosses a bend or a turnout, it should turn the turnout back to its original position.

Thirdly, when locomotive is running, its gear should be changed from low gear to high gear. At this time, attention should be paid to stepping on the clutch pedal and increasing the throttle correspondingly. It is strictly forbidden to overshoot the throttle. It is also important to remember that the clutch pedal should not be stepped on with your foot and the friction plate of the clutch should be worn excessively.

Fourth, every shift should discharge the carbon deposit in the water tank to reduce the blockage chance of the fence above the exhaust port; change the water in the water tank every three days; clean the fence of the exhaust port once a week; clean and replace the oil every 20-25 days; clean the fence of the air inlet once a month; clean the air filter every 15 days; and add waste oil properly to prevent the fence from being blocked by coal dust and other substances. Column; check and add enough grease once a month to bearings on four large steel wheels to prolong service life.

Fifth, the separation bearing of clutch should be lubricated once per shift (waste oil can be used), the tightening wheel should be lubricated once every half month; the locomotive chain should be inspected and lubricated every five days, and the throttle pull line should be lubricated every shift; the hyperbolic gear oil in the gearbox should be inspected every 10 days to see if the oil gauge is between the two calibration lines, and if it is insufficient, the timely refueling should be cleared every six months. Wash and replace the gearbox once.
