Inspection Before Starting Of Electric Locomotive

1. Whether the installation and fastening bolts of each electrical locomotive are complete and loose or not, the electric locomotive that affects the safety of driving must be installed and fastened.

2. Whether the brake components are in good condition or not, the brake belt on the brake shoe should be replaced when its thickness is less than 4mm, whether the braking and mitigation operation of locomotive at the control brake handle checkpoint is normal and flexible, and the gap between the brake belt and the brake drum should be ensured when mitigating.

3. The wires connecting the electrical equipment shall be intact and non-destructive, and the fastening procedures for the connections shall also be carefully checked.

4. Check whether enough grease and oil are injected into the lubricating parts of the locomotive.

5. After charging the battery pack, check whether the terminal voltage meets the requirements; whether the plastic vent cap on a single battery is tightened; whether the iron cap of the battery box is tightened and locked.

6. Assist battery repairman to push the power supply device onto the locomotive and fix it firmly.

7. Turn on the plug connector and close the light switch to check the light before and after.

8. Check whether the copper bell can be used normally.

9. Check whether there is enough dry fine sand in the sand box.

10. Put the reverse handle in the "forward" or "backward" position, and pull the main handle locomotive to run at a low speed in the given direction. It can check whether the locomotive electrical circuit has any problems, mainly to verify whether the connection of the lines in the two directions is correct.
