In the operation process of the locomotive, the pinion on one side will be subjected to a larger axial force, so the pinion may cause relaxation.

Second: how can we solve the problem of commutation?
To reduce the value of EMF, in order to get a good commutation, when designing traction motor, it is hoped that the value of EMF should be as small as possible, so that the commutation EMF needed to offset the EMF is smaller.
