How To Maintain The underground mining locomotive
1. Pulverized coal and dust should be cleaned frequently on the exterior and interior of the underground mining locomotive motor.
2. After removing the grade surface dirt, check the insulation resistance with the corresponding range megohmmeter. In the actual cold state, the insulation resistance must not be lower than 1MΩ.
3. Check the underground mining locomotive bearing grease for dirt. If there is dirt, the bearing must be cleaned with kerosene and replaced with clean No. 3 industrial lithium-based grease, whose volume occupies about 1/3 of the bearing chamber space. 3.
4. Check whether the narrow gauge locomotive armature can rotate freely, and there should be no left-right movement or abnormal sound.
5. Check if the narrow gauge locomotive motor outlet sign and connection are correct.
6. Check whether the brush is in good contact with the surface of the commutator. Its contact surface is not less than 80%. The brush can move up and down freely in the brush box.
7. Check the working surface of the commutator. The commutator should have a well-ground surface. When the commutator is running well, there should be a brown-red oxide film on the surface. If there is dirt or toner on the surface of the commutator, clean it with a soft, lint-free white cloth. If there is oil on the surface of the commutator, wipe it with a white cloth moistened with alcohol. If necessary, the mica between commutator segments should be cleaned, and the grooves should be engraved.
8. Check that all bolts and other fasteners are fastened in place.
9. Frequently clean the dirt attached to the casing to avoid affecting the heat dissipation of the motor.
10. If abnormal conditions are found during narrow gauge locomotive operation (such as abnormal color on the surface of the commutator, excessive sparks, etc.), stop working immediately, and then resume work after eliminating the fault. The motor must be closed before running after inspection.
