The State Coal Mine Safety Supervision Bureau has made great efforts to conduct coal mine safety inspections, striving to eliminate unsafe factors and reduce the occurrence of accidents. In mines with the risk of gas and coal dust explosions, explosion-proof electrical equipment must be used according to the "Coal Mine Safety Regulations".

1.Some problems in the use, maintenance and overhaul of coal mine Explosion-proof Mining Locomotive:

1.1 When water is sprayed in the mine tunnel and the motor gets damp, the insulation decreases and the explosion-proof surface is severely corroded, so it continues to be used without drying.

1.5 Underground Mining Locomotive the rubber sealing ring in the cable entry device of the motor junction box has aged and lost its elasticity. After the wiring bucket is tightened, there is a gap between the cable and the sealing ring; the spring washer of the fastening bolt is missing, and the joint surface between the motor outlet box and the machine base If they are not tightly combined, the explosion-proof performance will be lost.

1.6 The motor bearings are worn, the axial and radial gaps increase, the rotating shaft moves in series during operation, and the explosion-proof gap at the joint between the rotating shaft and the inner cover increases, and the minimum unilateral gap does not meet the requirements of explosion-proof standards.

The above existing problems should attract the attention of the competent authorities. Only by strengthening scientific management, rationally using explosion-proof motors, regular maintenance and overhaul, and always keeping the motors working in good condition can the safe and reliable operation of explosion-proof motors in coal mines be ensured.

2. Use and maintenance of Explosion-proof Mining Locomotive in coal mines:

2.1 Inspection before use of explosion-proof Electric Locomotive.

2.1.1 For newly installed motors and motors that have been left unused for a long time, the insulation resistance of the windings to the casing must be measured before use to ensure that it is not lower than the standard requirements. Otherwise, the motor must be dried until the insulation resistance meets the requirements before it can be used.

2.1.2 Carefully check whether all the fastening bolts are tightened, whether the spring washers are missing, whether the components of the explosion-proof shell are properly connected, whether the grounding is reliable, whether the connection between the motor terminals and the cables is reliable, and if any irregularities are found, they should be dealt with in time.

2.1.3 Check whether the specifications and capacity of the explosion-proof starting equipment equipped with the motor meet the requirements, whether the wiring is correct, whether the starting device operates flexibly, whether the contacts are in good contact, and whether the metal shell of the starting equipment is reliably grounded.

2.1.4 Check whether the three-phase power supply voltage is normal, whether the voltage is too high, too low, or the three-phase voltage is asymmetrical, etc.

2.1.5 Correctly select the mining rubber sheathed cable according to the size of the motor current and usage conditions. According to the outer diameter of the cable, peel off the rubber sealing ring in the introduction device to a hole of similar size, and then insert the cable into the pressure plate - metal gasket - sealing ring - metal gasket in sequence. Connect the cable core wire to the terminal post. When wiring, the cable core wire should be placed between two arcuate washers or crimping plates. The grounding core wire should be placed between the arcuate washers of the grounding screw and should be connected reliably. Ensure the integrity of contacts and the need for electrical clearance. After connecting the wires, check whether there are any debris or dust in the junction box, and whether the connection method complies with the power supply voltage and the regulations on the motor nameplate. Only after confirming that it is correct can the junction box cover be tightened. The cables introduced into the junction box are fixed on the junction box bucket with clamping plates to prevent the cables from being pulled out.

3. Maintenance of underground motors in coal mines:

Explosion-proof motors are subject to explosion-proof inspection by the explosion-proof inspection unit during trial production and finalization. Production and sales are allowed only after the drawings and documents have been reviewed for explosion-proof, the prototype has undergone explosion-proof testing, and the explosion-proof certificate and production license have been obtained. Explosion-proof motors produced by explosion-proof motor manufacturers are allowed to leave the factory only after passing the specified factory inspection and type test inspection. Therefore, generally speaking, the explosion-proof safety performance of explosion-proof motors meets the standard requirements. However, explosion-proof motors will be damaged to varying degrees due to mechanical, chemical and other effects during use.

For example, during operation, the flameproof shell will be impacted and cracked or deformed, the bearings will be worn or damaged due to poor lubrication, the stator winding will age due to long-term exposure to heat and chemical media, or will be broken down by high voltage impact, and the motor will Long-term overloading will cause the winding to overheat or even burn out, and the explosion-proof joint surface of the flameproof shell will be corroded and damaged by the moisture in the coal mine. Therefore, the faulty motor should be repaired or repaired. Since the explosion-proof structure of explosion-proof motors has many special characteristics compared with ordinary motors, if the explosion-proof structure is damaged during repairs and repairs, the explosion-proof motor will lose its explosion-proof performance and cause hidden dangers in coal mines.
