The second half of the maximum sound intensity level is due to the ground reverberation effect. The peak forming area in the middle of the lower half is exactly the location of the junction box hole on the housing. This small hole is not only the radiation outlet of ventilation noise, but also the noise generated by vibration on the surface of iron core and shell often propagates outward through these small holes.
Therefore, the noise near these holes is particularly high. Without the hole, the sound intensity will decrease from bottom to top due to the ground reverberation effect until it approaches the surface sound intensity of the motor. However, due to the existence of small holes, there is still a high sound intensity to the upper left of the lower half.
Facing the abnormal noise test conducted by the above methods, we can quickly judge the problem of the locomotive rotor, and the simplest way to repair it is: when measuring the cold resistance of the winding, tap the rubber hammer with the head cover. If there are virtual solder joints, the bridge pointer will be extremely unstable. It should also be noted that if the number of copper bars in the hard winding is too large, the balance problem of the improver should be mastered, otherwise the vibration will be caused.
