The traction equipment composed of cab, braking system, traveling system, control system, battery pack, lighting, etc. has many advantages, such as simple, reliable, flexible and so on. In the long run, this equipment has always been operated by charging, so what should be paid attention to when charging the explosion-proof battery electric locomotive?
(6) When charging, the temperature of electrolyte shall not exceed the following regulations: 43 ℃ for synthetic alkali electrolyte; 35 ℃ for caustic soda electrolyte; 45 ℃ for sulfuric acid electrolyte. When the temperature exceeds, stop charging or reduce the current immediately, and recharge after cooling. When measuring the temperature, it shall not be less than 3 batteries.
(7) Pay attention to the connecting wire and pole, without overheating or loosening.
(8) When the electrolyte in the battery overflows, it should be sucked out in time and wiped clean.
(9) Monitor the operation of charging equipment, stop charging immediately in case of abnormal phenomenon, and recharge after treatment.
(10) It is forbidden to fasten the connection and nuts during the charging process. It is forbidden to put the spanner and other tools on the battery.
(11) During the charging process, the battery voltage, current, liquid level, specific gravity and temperature must be checked once an hour and recorded.
In a word, the explosion-proof battery locomotive must stop working for 1-1.5 hours after charging. After cooling, it is allowed to cover the battery cock, wipe off the acid and alkali trace at the liquid injection port, cover the battery box cover, lock the bolt and wait for use.
