The explosion-proof electric locomotive can be used without any auxiliary facilities. It can turn left and right automatically during underground transportation. Generally, it must be pulled by locomotive or winch. It has the characteristics of flexible and light use. The brake form of the explosion-proof battery electric locomotive ensures the safety of using the explosion-proof battery electric locomotive. The specific brake form is as follows:
There are three kinds of braking modes of explosion-proof electric locomotive, which can be adopted according to different situations, but there are only two working principles, namely, hydrostatic braking and brake braking.
1. Service brake
The service brake is used when the electric locomotive is running at a high speed. The braking time and distance are required to be short. The operation process is to first return the reversing handle to the middle position, and then press the brake button, that is, the hydrostatic brake and the brake brake are applied simultaneously. The brake button only controls the brake solenoid valve.
2. Emergency braking
Emergency braking refers to that in case of a very emergency, when it is too late to return the reversing handle to the middle position, directly press the emergency braking button to force the electric locomotive to brake in the process of traveling until the hydraulic traveling system overflows and loses the driving ability and stops gradually, which is completely dependent on the brake. The difference is that the emergency brake button controls the circuit of the whole vehicle. The brake should not only overcome the motion inertia of the electric vehicle, but also overcome the driving force of the walking system, which is the worst working condition of the brake. The safety factor of three-stage braking is higher than that of one-stage braking, but the damage to the machine is more serious than that of one-stage braking. In this way, it is required to try not to use emergency braking and use less service braking.
3. Service brake
In the process of compaction, the working brake is used when the electric locomotive changes forward and backward. It is required that the braking process be stable to avoid damage to the ground. The operation process is to return the reversing handle to the middle position, i.e. return the pump swashplate to the zero position, based on the locking function of the closed hydraulic system itself, i.e. hydrostatic braking.
