Causes of abnormal noise in gear drive of electric locomotive

① Gear wear exceeds the limit or teeth are beaten;
② Gear cover is skewed and friction with gear or wheel pair;
③ The narrow guage locomitive fixed bolt of the gear cover is loose, and the vibration sounds. If the bolt is lost, the gear cover is dropped;
④ The wear of the sliding bearings of the traction motor and the wheelset is beyond the limit, making the gear mesh poor.

Reasons for the sand scatter pipe of electric locomotive

① Deformation of the sand-spreading joystick;
② The sand is not dry and has agglomerated;
③ The sand pipe is blocked.
