Maintenance Standards For Overhead Electric Locomotives

Generally, the daily maintenance and inspection of electric locomotive have the following aspects, let me take a look

1. Remove the mud from the brake shoe adjusting screw, check the narrow gauge locomotive wear condition of the brake shoe, replace the brake shoe, and adjust the gap of the brake shoe.

2. Check whether the brakes, transmission rods (chains) and their connecting parts of the brake system are normal and complete, and whether they act flexibly, and perform oil injection. When the transmission parts are connected and matched, they are loose.

3. Check whether the narrow gauge locomotive wheel is cracked, whether the tyre is loose, and the degree of wear of the wheel tread.

4. Check whether the narrow gauge locomotive gear box (cover) is loose, worn, or leaking.

5. Check the frame springs, hangers and balance beams for cracks and severe wear, remove the dirt on the springs, and inject oil into the hinge points and balance beams.

6. Check the connection device, and there must be no damage and wear over the limit.

7. Check the spring pressure of the collector, the degree of wear of the sliding plate, and whether the pantograph is flexible to rise and fall. The frames, bolts and pins should be complete and complete.

8. Clean the locomotive dust on the contacts of the controller; check whether the wiring terminals are loose or not; whether the connections are burnt, especially the frequently-moving contacts should be checked and maintained.

9. Check the locomotive wiring terminals and resistance elements of the resistor, and they shall not be loose or broken.

10. After the electric locomotive is out of service, immediately check the conditions of the traction motor, bearing bushes, and reduction gear box. The temperature of the motor must not exceed the manufacturer's regulations. Clean the dust accumulation of the gearbox, fill and change the oil regularly.

11. For the luminosity of the front light, replace the worn bulb and fuse. The capacity of the fuse must meet the requirements.

12. Check that the bolts, pins and split pins of the car body and various parts must not be loose or missing, especially the parts of the hanging tractor, which should be carefully checked.

13. According to the specified time, use the specified grease to clean, fill and lubricate the oil injection points.
