Maintenance Of Battery Locomotive Pantograph

The pantograph used for overhead battery locomotive obtains electric energy from overhead line.

The underground mining locomotive pantograph should be maintained daily to maintain the necessary pressure on overhead line, which should be kept in the range of 35-55n, so as to ensure the reliability of contact between pantograph and overhead line.

When checking the battery locomotive pantograph, the power supply shall be cut off and it shall be removed from the overhead line. Check whether the slide plate of the pantograph is worn evenly and whether there is serious unevenness. The hot or melted parts shall be processed and trimmed with file.

Check the wear degree of each rotating shaft and add lubricating oil with oiler. The friction force of each rotating shaft can be judged by the pressure acting on the overhead line when the pantograph is lowered or raised. At different locomotive working heights, the pressure difference does not exceed 30n. If the pressure is not enough, the pressure spring can be adjusted to reach the specified value.

When the underground mining locomotive pantograph is working for a long time, the pantograph frame is deformed, the insulating wood is broken and the slide plate is damaged due to some external strong impact. According to different faults, the pantograph shall be straightened and reshaped or replaced with new parts.
