Maintenance Of Electric Locomotive Sandbox System

1. There should be no sand leaking out of the electric locomotive sandbox before stepping on the pedal or pulling the hand lever.

2. The sandbox should be in the open position when stepping on the pedal or pulling the hand lever. After leaving the pedal or releasing the hand lever, the return spring should be able to return the sandbox to the closed position. If not, adjust the length of the spring.

3. The sand used in the battery locomotive sandbox does not need to be dried, it only needs to be sieved (3 square millimeter sieve grid).

4. When the sand from the sand conveying pipe does not fall on the track, check whether the pipe position is correct.

5. As needed (at least once every 5 days), remove all the sand in the box and all the sundries that fall on the sand during work and replace with new sand.

6. Remove the dirt on the sander as needed (at least once every 5 days), and apply lubricating oil on the pin joints. Every time the locomotive is inspected, remove the sand and dirt on the inner surface of the sand pipe.

7. Electric battery locomotive are not allowed to leave the garage before the sandbox is filled with sand.
