The sand-spreading device is an important mechanical part of the overhead electric locomotive, and it is also a part that often has problems. The failure of the sand-spreading device will cause inconvenience or malfunction of operation, and it will not be able to spread sand normally. Therefore, when the electric locomotive is started under heavy load or started on a slippery area and emergency braking, wheel slip is prone to occur, which not only affects the life of the wheels, but also threatens transportation safety.
So what are the reasons and solutions for the failure of the sand spreading device of the overhead underground mining locomotive? Please look down
The reasons for the failure of the sand spreading device of the overhead underground mining locomotive are as follows:
1) The sanding joystick is deformed and jammed or the return spring is damaged;
2) The sand pipe or sand box leaking hole is blocked. The sand is not dry and has agglomerated;
3) The sand pipe is skewed and not aligned with the rail surface;
4) The sand valve of the diesel locomotive with the air brake system is contaminated and lost;
5) The pressure of the air brake system is insufficient or the sand sprinkling nozzle is blocked.
The treatment method of the failure of the sand spreading device of the overhead underground mining locomotive:
1) When the joystick is deformed, perform straightening and shaping, and it should be replaced when it cannot be restored and affects the work; when sand leakage occurs in the rocking sand box, the integrity of the adjustable spring should be checked, and the position and pressure of the displaced spring should be adjusted and replaced Damaged spring.
2) When the sand does not flow out, check whether the sand is wet and agglomerated. If there is wet agglomeration, replace with new dry sand;
3) Open the sand pipe or adjust the position of the sand pipe so that the distance from the wheel and track surface meets the requirements and the direction is accurate.
4) When the compressed air brake system is not used for sanding, check whether the sanding valve is flexible and reliable, and replace the failed sanding valve. Secondly, check the compressed air pipeline and the sealing condition of the brake valve and the pressure regulating valve, and replace the leaking sealing element.
