The overhead electric locomotive is a circuit that receives electric current from the traction converter and enters the electric motor through the electric locomotive, and then passes through the track to return to the converter. The DC voltage of the underground power grid in China is 250V and 550V, and there are two kinds of 550V and 750V in the open air.
Advantages: The wired locomotive has simple structure, low cost and convenient maintenance. The locomotive has large transportation capacity, high speed, high power consumption efficiency, low transportation cost and wide application.
Disadvantages: There must be rectification and wiring facilities, not flexible enough; the line has certain influence on the size of the roadway and the safety of pedestrians; the sparks between the pantograph and the wire are easy to be generated, and it is not allowed to be used in mines with serious gas; initial construction The investment is large, but in the long run, the total cost of using a wired locomotive is much lower than that of a battery locomotive. Therefore, if the mine conditions permit, the main transportation of the mine should use a wired locomotive.
