6. When the narrow guage locomotive motor is working, carefully listen to whether there is any abnormal sound when the motor is running. 7. In case of good bearing condition, the temperature at both ends is generally lower than that at the middle winding end. If the temperature of the bearing at both ends is found to be high, the bearing shall be checked in combination with the measured bearing sound. If the overall temperature of the motor is too high, it is necessary to check the load, equipment and ventilation of the motor in combination with the working current.
8. When the explosion-proof narrow guage locomotive is working, measure its three-phase working voltage and current to see whether they are balanced. The error between the current of each phase and the average value shall not exceed 10%. If the difference between the current of each phase measured by the clamp meter is too large, there may be a short circuit between turns. Off line state refers to that when the motor stops working, it is necessary to regularly (monthly) measure the insulation resistance of its individual phase to ground or phase to phase with an insulation meter, and compare it with the test results of last month, so as to find out whether there is any insulation defect. If it is found that it is not good, it is necessary to bake with a drying lamp to improve the insulation, so as to avoid the motor being damaged due to the breakdown of the winding due to the low insulation.
