Last time, I gave you some reasons why it is easy to break the circuit of electric trolley locomotive. Click here to see the article. Today, I will continue to introduce to you the locations which are easy to cause short circuit and grounding of electric locomotive.
1) The main contact of the active part of the controller is short-circuited or grounded. If the automatic switch trips at the first position starting in series, this may be the main contact 1, 2, 3, 4, 8 short-circuited grounding.
2) Controller reversible auxiliary contacts short circuit or grounding: If the first, second and third positions of starting in series do not go, the fourth position automatic switch trips, which may be LX, 10, 12 and the contact short circuit or grounding of the electrified wire of the electric locomotive.
3) Grounding of starting resistance: Grounding of certain section of starting resistance will cause automatic switch tripping when the locomotive starts to a certain position. If the first position of starting in series is automatic switch tripping, it may be R1-R2 grounding; if starting in series is not running at 1-4 position, the fifth position is automatic switch tripping, it may be R4-R5 grounding.
4) Short-circuit or grounding in the battery locomotive: mainly the main pole or commutation pole coil grounding, short-circuit between the main pole and commutation pole, armature coil or rectifier grounding, brush frame grounding, connection line grounding.
