Diesel Locomotive CCG 3.0 Underground Mining Locomotive

These Underground Mining Locomotives are designed for horizontal rail transport; they are certified according to European safety standards and meet their requirements. They can work on slopes of rail tracks to 35‰, with track gauge from 500 up to 1435 mm, at ambient temperatures from -35 to +40 °C.

Diesel Locomotives are weighing from 5 t to 22 tons; single cabin of compact design, the cabin is elevated with views to both driving directions. Diesel Locomotive engines are with power from 35 to 250 kW.

Hydrostatic transmission is used to transmit torque moment from the engine to the gear axle and it provides smooth operation throughout the whole speed range by one lever. The chassis is of dual-axle type, transmission to the second axle is assured by inter-axle cardan driveshaft. Travel wheels are secured with interchangeable rims. Suspension of diesel Locomotive is provided by elastic rubber-metal blocks of sagittal shape.

Diesel Locomotive braking is performed by two independent systems on both axles: Hydraulic – it means by hydrostatic transmission through mechanical gears and mechanical – it means by mechanical dual circuit brake and by mechanical action through direct linkage to travel wheels. Brake control is proportional and maximum brake force/stopping power is self-adjustable. Parking brake is automatic. The security system provides automatic stop of the Diesel Locomotive engine in a case of failure mode and when exceeding the temperature and pressure limit values. The driver is informed about all conditions on the dashboard.
